Med Plus Advantage - Sponsored by the American Medical Association

Med Plus Advantage is a solutions-based program that was developed out of an AMA resolution to investigate the feasibility of finding insurance coverage that better meets the needs of students and residents.

From the $200,000 student loan payoff benefit, to the five year student definition for the group insurance plan provided by The Standard Life Insurance Company and the Guaranteed Standard Issue (GSI) individual disability coverage offered to finishing residents through Union Central Life Insurance Company, the MPA program continues to address the needs of medical professionals along their educational career track and into practice.

The focus of the plan is in offering Group LTD coverage to medical schools and resident programs. Once covered, the students and residents then have access to various group and individual products when they finish. Other products such as Life Insurance, Auto & Renters and Health Insurance are also available.
